Technically, it is a goal, though perhaps an optimistic one.
I won't support vicious widgets in the 2.x releases, but I should definitely add support for it in the release/1.4 branch that follows AwesomeWM master/4.4. Not that I think vicious widgets are the best, but technically if it runs on AwesomeWM, I should support it in 1.4.
Plug still gets the job done imo. But I'm also hopeful that since this one is builtin to the language it'll likely be end-game worthy for lots of users. I have tried it out and had a painless experience though I never did anything fancy like lazy offered.
Emacs users have all the fun. And just like eve online or dwarf fortress, I can't seem to get fully into them myself, but I love reading stories about it.
Would you mind giving a little more info on what you're getting Jules to work on? I tried it out a couple times but I think I was asking for too large a task and it ended up being pretty bad, all things considered.
I tried to get it to add some new REST endpoints that follow the same pattern as the other 100 we have, 5 CRUD endpoints. It failed pretty badly, which may just be an indictment on our codebase...
Although my conclusion is the same as yours, that flying has never been safer, it has felt like longer than 2 months that the state of aviation safety has been under scrutiny. I feel like the Boeing situation recently has caused a lot of people to really assume the worst of the industry.
Again, I'm in aviation. I believe the data indicates it's safe as it's ever been. But I don't blame people for being concerned
What's the use case for a separate GUI for neovim? I remember using macvim for a few days maybe 8 years ago, but I never "got it". It felt like the benefits of having my editor in my terminal were thrown out for little return.

I created an issue (https://github.com/trip-zip/somewm/issues/599), even if you decide not to use SomeWM. Thanks for trying it out.
