Aside from that, I've launched a new tool that tries to promote Solar panels. The UK has some of the most expensive energy in the world, so I've been trying to let homeowners and building managers understand if their building's are suitable.
Uses some APIs all plugged together - including the DEFRA datasets for DSM (LiDAR from planes).
Probably working on too many projects at the moment - but really enjoying building again.
Working hard to figure out how to market, interested in trying to push things out a bit more.
Working on a benchmarking tool with https://flopper.io for GPUs too - written in Rust - which should allow me to try to get people to submit their general flop values for consumer hardware to run local llms/models.
We've had three back to back heatwaves so far this summer in the UK. THREE!
Hopefully it inspires people to make an informed decision to get the best price and starts generating more questions and leads for solar companies.
