I can second the opinion on Magnesium. Though, instead of magnesium L threonate, I used Magnesium malate. I have tried citrate and orotate forms and while they were both good, compared to malate the effect was mild. The malate form of magnesium had a better calming effect on the mind and muscles.
Will try L threonate next time and see how it works.
Slightly offtopic, but Article One recently launched a crowd-funding project[1] aimed at helping start ups affected by actual patent trolls.
According to the project page,
"Our goal is to launch and maintain a completely free, data-rich, up-to-date, member-supported database that small companies can use to help defend against patent trolls."
They are starting with a patent owned by Treehouse Avatar Technologies regarding gaming avatars. Treehouse has been targeting indie game developers using US 8180858[2].
Eventually, they plan to build a prior art database targeting the most abused patents and provide small start-ups with free access.
These three lectures by Hans Bethe are really interesting to watch and gives you a historical perspective on the development of Quantum Physics. Given his age, the delivery is a bit slow, but it piques your interest in the subject.
The title of the original article is "Science, new media, and the public" published in the Science Magazine. https://www.sciencemag.org/content/339/6115/40.

These rights apply only in human - animal relations and not animal - animal relations. Carnivorous animals and other plants are free to do as they like to their fellow beings.
But, from what I know animals rarely abuse other animals for no reason. Usually there is a good reason for them to attack another animal like food, territory, self defense or if they are ill( elephants in musth, rabid dogs and wolves).
What am trying to say is that animals get rights from the same place that we get rights, laws and social norms.
Animals are farmed and killed for us to eat, the least we can do is to treat them with respect while they are alive.
