Chartboost is so widely adopted? I don't hear of them so much. That said, I know they are really big with games, so maybe if you dominate games, you sorta dominate
This is great. I took accela into Penn Station for 4 years from DC. I always wish they could revitalize that whole area. They can do so much with it. Today it's feels like a 3rd world train station.
Am surprised there isn't a whole lot of SDKs in there. Some of the ones are surprising at least to me... haven't heard of Upsight before. Maybe the take-away is, use fewer SDKs, make it more lightweight and less crash-prone? Who's going to get that ad SDK slot? Everyone is probably fighting over that.
I wish these existed when I was just out of college. I would have loved to spend a year doing this before family, kids, mortgages, etc. Now I am just getting depressed...

I followed MakerBot pretty obsessively since its early days. I have to agree with some of the comments here. It was very clear after they raised venture money that they became a marketing machine. I suspect they were burning quite lot of money to grab marketshare and become the de facto personal 3D printer. They pawned that thing off at the right time and let it become someone else's problem. Classic venture playbook.
A company without AI in their pitch today is like a company in 1995 not having a web strategy. Time will tell if AI is as sticky as the web. People are just overestimating where AI is today for most generic tasks like generic bots. For specific pattern matching deepnet works very well but to build Jarvis, we ain't there yet
