I think the biggest potential at the moment for AI in games is by introducing new mechanisms for interacting with them. I'm not 100% if 'Before your eyes', a game centred around the players blinking, uses AI but similar technologies for eye-tracking, emotion detection, real-time audio transcription and of course semantic analysis are ripe with interesting gameplay mechanics.

I'm not sure COT would help in this situation. I am an amateur at chess but in my experience a large part of playing is intuition and making and I'm not confident the model could even accurately summarise its thinking. There are tasks in which models perform worse on when explaining reasoning. However, this is completely vibes based.

I'd argue almost every platform with ads do have this option. You just may disagree about what's reasonably priced.

I think the problem is simply the network effect. Reddit and Twitter are just hard to beat, maybe threads, utilizing the massive Instagram user base managed but I haven't heard anyone use it and I don't think you can force it

it's the summation of numbers from 1 to n which is n(n+1)/2. This reduces to quadratic complexity because big O notation ignores all coefficients and terms that scale slower

AI alignment has a well defined meaning. You can look at the wikipedia article if you wish. If you dismiss it as an important problem, that's fine but it's pretty clear what AI alignment means in this context.
