Tech job market in the uk is officially bust. Since many wanted to stop europeans coming in, the jobs went to them in return. Higher quality engineering anyway. AI in particular is a different story - other than pretty images and procedural text it offers no benefits, and investors know it. Also ai workers are likely the first to be replaced. The largest token database wins, making all else redundant.
So have job openings overall like you can see from the graph in the article. I don't see a reason to single out AI.
