Wouldn’t all big buyers seek alternatives to Nvidia? I think Nvidia’s stock has nowhere to go but down. I wonder if they’ll respond by building the software and products (for LLMs) themselves.
Unless you can outspend Nvidia/Apple buying TSMC node capacity, you can't seek alternatives to Nvidia. They have the densest chips even if you ignore CUDA.
