I am looking for a cofounder, but not in any big rush as I want to find someone that is a good fit. In the meantime I am working on a project to improve/practice my development skills with a mobile app and attending meet-ups in my area to chat with people and maybe do some projects to test out how we work together.

I have more of a 'business' background, have worked on policy projects for the tech sector and have a lot of project management skills. My day job right now is an executive position, and I can build teams, set vision, and implement. I also have enough coding background to build prototypes, so can contribute to technical aspects at the beginning.

Feel free to message me if you want to collaborate on a project!

No, but the attributes of psychopathy overlap with what is needed in a business leader. Putting business decisions ahead of people is one of them.

Seems like you just put together a plan and an MVP and show it to them, then see if they have any interest in investing? I've always avoided this as I don't like to mix personal relationships with money. Most friends and family aren't sophisticated investors, and unless they are ok losing all their money, it seems like a recipe for resentment.

Seems similar to the Yuri Bezmenov interview video. I don't know if this is an actual campaign or if just coincidence. In either case, it isn't headed in the right direction. Hopefully there is a self-correcting mechanism?

My guess is that you are around 25-30? That's when most people tend to become much more aware of the limited time we have. It's great that you are doing something to improve your time management! In terms of the trade off mentioned, you will likely be happiest picking a few things to get decently good at (while accepting that you won't master any of them). On the other hand, some people choose to prioritize one thing to get really good at and this will lead to the most impact. But may not leave you happiest...
