I don’t see how my comment would imply or could be understood as wanting a ban or being against mixed use development.

That is entirely not the issue I’m raising here.

Will Costco be collecting rent? The mental gymnastics are impressive. It’s not a good thing that Costco gets to expand to housing. This is just like private equity and 401k’s buying houses. People should be able to own their own housing not become lifelong renters.

How accurate is the chart titled "Top 20 U.S. Cities for Tech Salaries"?

Houston, TX seems a bit high.

It’s clearly written it’s an idea. I don’t know what you’re implying here.

> Source control systems make it easy to reverse changes

I have not observed this to be the case. After a few revisions there are so much changes that the code cannot be reversed without loosing a lot. A mech aims to cut out the soon-to-be-dead code like a flag is better. But perhaps maybe I’m doing something wrong.

I’ve seen similar upgrades done to iPads and iPhones. But is this type of service available to any consumer and what is the cost?

Nice and congrats. On iOS I had some issues with the background terrain reappearing when jumping. Might need to disable pointer events.

I also have the Mini 2 which Litchi did not support until recently.

I use it for two features which the Mini 2 does not have built in: waypoint navigation and object tracking. Both work well.

I bought the iPad Pro for its brightness as I use it outside with the Litchi app.

But other than that, it has been an extreme disappointment. I don't know what Apple's definition of "Pro" is. I used to think it was video production and photography. But something as basic as an HDR photo merge cannot be done on iPad Pro.

Great if you already have a mainboard. Doesn't make sense if you don't as a better build can be bought from Asus, Lenovo or Steam for the price of a new Framework mainboard.

I think teaching sites should do better than just saying you should use tool X. It is much better to teach why. Also Rye delegates tasks to uv. I'd rathe ruse that tool directly.

BitLocker supports turning any USB drive into a key. But I don’t like that it creates a separate hidden partition.

Hopefully all that junk was CGI, and not sitting in a landfill after filming.

I see all the license checking code in lib.rs but nothing in build.rs?

Very accurate:

> However, all humans listen to people that they think are like themselves. Naturally, we place more weight on people with whom we have a common reference point.

Roku's own devices are powerful. However, Roku-integrated TV manufactures sometimes skimp on processing power, and I'm wondering if that was considered.

Also, I've migrated from Roku to Apple TV. Which is the best streaming media player in terms of performance, responsiveness, integration with other A/V equipment. And everyone already has a remote for it in their pockets. So, if Roku wants to dig their own grave...continue with the ads.

Yes, because "Google Trends" is sufficient data. Not disagreeing/agreeing but I expected more data.

Why would they willing give the interior UX to Apple? CarPlay started with the center console screen, and its now clear Apple wants to take over the dash and any auxiliary screens.

Lots of comments seem to say no CarPlay = no purchase. But I would be weary of Apple as they tend to lock features away.

For example, MB Command NTG 4.5 from 2006ish could show text messages on the in-vehicle display. This was accomplished with a Bluetooth standard. Today the same thing would require CarPlay/Android Auto.

Found this out quickly. I thought it would be easier to cancel XM Radio via cancelling the card. It did not work.
