They said Japan would collapse with their spending (which is far more then ours per cap). Not only has that claim been proven false it has been the opposite.
Japan has the highest debt-to-GDP ratio in the world at 262%. The country's debt has been above 100% of its GDP for more than two decades. This is due to a combination of factors, including economic policies and an aging population.
Unions just for existing do not get special protections. Contracts and rights are agreed to by both parties. The processes involved in the firing of employees is black and white. Whatever the company agreed to is the rules.
Maybe had the company not prioritized greed and instead invested in itself they wouldn’t be in this mess. Don’t blame the workers for this and a company that depends so heavily on the government to keep it afloat shouldn’t be allowed to buyback stocks.
Unions in a good place because Boeing isn’t going anywhere. Mismanagement allowed the greedy management to cash out already why not the workers.
I once believed a two state solution would be inevitable. Decades later and I have come to accept that the West Bank will be incorporated into Israel. If you see the maps over time the West Bank has been split into multiple small pockets of refugee sections. Without external pressures nothing will change and the politics on the issue have become toxic in the US.
Hopefully I’m wrong. But tides have shifted in the opposite direction.
This would break the trust in voting. People want to know how someone voted if they can lie to their constituents on how they voted we will lose faith in democracy. Ban lobbying is the solution.
But if the majority are in a union and those that don’t join reap all the benefits the union gains in contracts how is that fair for those who are supporting the union.
I got a solution for you then. Any kid caught using their phone in school is expelled. We shall put personal responsibility and consequences as the primary objective. Does this solve your issue.
Your understanding of how policing works is pretty flawed. Cops need warrants to go into any apartment. Also just because someone ran into an apt complex does not mean they live there. You need more probable cause to justify a warrant. What did you want the police to do pull everyone out of there apartments and hand search.
