This sure seems like a niche case that rightfully Apple wouldn’t see in their actual-use statistics when making decisions like “should we remove the analog 3.5mm?”
You aren’t in the minority. You are in the silent majority though. Most people -and really emphasizing most in terms of what people actually buy not what they complain about online- don’t care about a 3.5mm jack.
It’s gone, it’s never coming back. To that end, once iPhone goes USB-C it’ll accelerate this majority non-issue.
No, you are entirely misreading that. You don’t just get everything reset to zero. So bad credit, yes, but also maybe a condition is that you are still on the hook for legal fees but they have been worked down to 50,000 and the payments have been rescheduled to 20 years.
You don’t “avoid” fines by declaring bankruptcy. You can go through a bankruptcy process and as the debtor you may be forgiven from certain things that the other side will clearly never receive money from, but this isn’t a clean slate trick you just do and walk away from.
You basically convert your obligation into distrust. And can “refinance” some debts including judgments against you.
So, could Manning go through bankruptcy and have the court never receive their money, yes. But I wouldn’t say this is “avoiding the fine”, just changing it.
I don't know if you read your own link or not, but he's first off complaining about a community plugin and not an official one.
There is some truth that overlapping isn't well supported in Flutter CURRENTLY, but I can think of things that were well supported in RN 4 years ago either.
I can't think of a single reason I would want an overlay EXCEPT an alert, and even then, I don't think he's right.
Not to be TOO snarky but... I'm sure there are a whole bunch of Angular 1.0 people who said the same thing.
I'm not convinced it's a worse idea to guess lottery numbers than to guess what will be successful languages. To that point however, React isn't a language (or a framework) it's a library.
I would say Google has more to lose by dropping Dart and Flutter as a language and frame work than Facebook has/had by dropping React.
Sure. But what if the entire world doesn’t want to learn JavaScript? What if you don’t already know HTML, CSS, and JS? RN makes ZERO sense at that point.
As a C developer, man, Flutter looks pretty damn logical!
Right! I ran in to this when I wanted our app to “portal” to the website and just move Bluetooth data along. Apple thought about this and doesn’t like it.
Not only are the built ins awful. Their lifespan is very short. I had my Samsung for about a year before it would let me know that “XYZ service was ending in one month”.
Disconnected that thing from WiFi and have never hooked it back up. Xbox/PS are just far superior smart devices.
It takes a little longer every time someone implies ad blockers are “stealing” or that it’s all ok because “it’s the model”. I completely refuse both of these ideas.
