Brushless motors are popular now, but if you get the cheaper cordless tools they'll still have brushed motors. I have some Black & Decker 20V ones that do it. They tend to have less torque but I don't need Milwaukee or Makita tools just for diy around the house.
I really liked Red Alarm but it was a really tiring game to play. But overall I agree with you about the Virtual Boy. It's not a system that was received fondly for very good reasons.
The modern choices are accompanied by ads and gambling, to the point that it wouldn't be surprising if Final Fantasy 6 was seeing an uptick. Go enjoy your "modern" games all you like, but it doesn't always matter if a games community is growing, especially if it's not one requiring connectivity to blast ads and skins at people.
