I thought that's why we have GDPR and similar laws, so you can enforce it? If the company says it deleted your data but it didn't it's definitely not complying with GDPR

you were probably eating tons of pizza and noodles in restaurants while on vacation. But the people that life there, A: don't go to restaurants every day B: are they eating pizza everyday and C: have probably healthier behaviors than you, like using a bike tonget around etc.

eWaste is caused by all kinds of things and one thing that is easily solvable is replaceable batteries. I also hope that it will be forced for all phones, people shouldn't be able to pay a little extra to destroy the planet

bad stack in what way? Why is vercel shady? I can understand that the business model is questionable to lock-in people with developing a framework that runs best on their own cloud, but shady would mean fot me, that they do something illegal

Really great product, I'm using inngest since 2-3 months and it definitely solved our problem. We needed a scheduling, queue, trigger solution. The docs are fairly good and it worked after some fiddling with our setup. I can quickly see every morning if all the jobs went through, we also starting to use them for webhooks now. Very happy, wrote at least 10 different functions in typescript so far

Countries aren't bankrupt, they can't really go bankrupt if they use their own currency. Countries are not businesses they don't need to make money to be able to spend.

Tax shouldn't be seen as the countries income but as a tool for redistribution of wealth and to keep trust in the currency as a whole. If you don't have debt you don't have money, every printed dollar goes into the system and can be used in various things not only an asset earning interest

without digging into all of these, what's the conclusion?

Because not everything can be build to not be dangerous. The potential of electrocution, poisoning from a battery are all real. Not real for you because you're probably smart but you have to think about people who have no idea what they're doing and could get themselves gurt

I don't think so. People already start to realize that AI won't solve everything in the near future and will hire soon also more engineers again, when the bubble bursts engineers will be valued better again and more jobs should open

looks like a nice idea, if I understand it correct. Do you have any ideas how much you would charge or for which features you would charge or have a free tier?

interesting speculation. I was also very impressed to see her as CTO and I was thinking "my god she must be very smart, good at expressing ideas etc." because she's the CTO, so I was excited to see interviews of her. But I thought the interviews were horrible and I was wondering how she ended up in that position. Still possible that she's just bad in interviews though

either way it still shouldn't be in the hands of a private for profit corporation

do you get a green card easier as a canadian than people from europe for example? I'm from germany and know many people who would like to work in the states, but it's really a big problem to get the green card. It takes companies much effort and money to get you in the states for more than 3 months.
