From reading posts on X/Twitter, I got the feeling that PC Gaming enthusiasts truly believed this was going to compete with console gaming and those players would flock to the utopia that is Steam OS and managing hardware. At this price I believe its way too expensive to temp console gamers and Steam supporters will probably balk about the specs to price ratio.
Well, we don't have any information on cost, battery life or performance yet, which all matter. Could very well run laps around the M series at half the battery life and twice the cost.
Correct, but Incredible Universe had one on display for a very long time in the video games department and you could play World Heroes and other games for free! There would be a line of kids waiting to take a turn at World Heroes and I remember my friend and I playing the frisbee game. No need to goto the arcade when you could play these games for free.
Just a shout out to Incredible Universe that was stupid/smart (you pick) for putting a Neo Geo on display to allow us to play arcade quality games for free. There would be a small line inside the Video Games sections of kids queueing up to play World Heroes.Fun memories.
What is funny is the Adobe executive who proved that yearly employee review process is no longer needed over a decade ago but for some reason the trend never caught on across the corporate world. Seems that some trends just don’t catch on for some reason.
The Model Y is going on 8 years old, S and X are being shutdown. That leaves you with the 3 and Y. Cybertruck will be shutdown soon. What new models have they announced?
In the almost 30 years of using Mac’s at home and various desktop pc’s in the workplace I don’t think I have ever seen ram fail. Replaced plenty of old school failed disk drives however.
I find it comical that the Switch was completely ignored, which just means to me that Nintendo finally won the console wars while the other two fight for second place. VGCharts has this for lifetime sales for the current consoles in the USA.
