Optane was very cool, but at the same time it quickly turned into a very niche product. If I'm not mistaken, once of the primary purposes was to accelerate spinning disk drives. However, I really don't think that's needed nowadays as hard drives aren't really that horrible now and SSDs are getting cheaper and cheaper every year.
I think if Intel really focused on what they were trying to do, I really do think they would have had success in the data center for accelerating data center drives.
It's over hyped. Yeah, it's cool and all but anything else would do the same thing. The only thing that I actually found is better in Lightroom is the AI detection features. Same can go with Photoshop and paint.net (or gimp if you're into that kinda thing.)
Yeah, this leads me to believe the other guy was right. The automated document checker probably flagged one of those domains leading to your documents getting removed.

I have a desktop PC, and I have 2 SSD's in my laptop, and I used to dual boot ESXi and windows. Worked perfectly fine, just remotes into ESXi on my desktop at home.
Now I dual boot Manjaro and a small windows partition, and just use qemu for most of my basic VMS.
