I got sick of trying out different static site generators that were all just a little bit too complicated to setup and install, so I went about building just what you describe - a simple, plug-in-your-ftp-and-click-publish static site generator[1]. I'm still working out the finer details, but I'm happy with where it's at at the moment.
I'm looking for a PHP developer to customise the mustache.php templating system to better suit a new collaborative platform I've got in the works, with the potential for additional work.

I suspect very little if they don't also have your 'secret' API key. I guess they could request a single-use token for a card, but I don't think they could then do anything with it.
It looks like they provide pin.js so that your server never has to accept the credit card details, but rather a single-use token (much like Stripe, I believe).
