A digital identity registry/provider? Did they finally recognize that gamers or people in virtual worlds want to escape their RL identity?
Or is it just another hopeless try to enforce their digital "singular identity" authoritarianism?
My first thought was that some dude is ripping off LiveWire and Turbolinks because of the strange centered text (no professional web designer would do that), until I saw that those were renamed evolutions of those technologies from Basecamp, cool!.
Strange that they didn't mention hiring as a reason, it's maybe even the main one. React is for the frontend what PHP was for backends in the 2000s, that's what most frontend devs know. Svelte would be a better fitting comparison to Rails in 2004.
