Love it! I'd appreciate a copy text button rather than the current share behaviour.

I'll also weigh in and say that solving sub-clues when you can see the higher-level answer is a good feature, and makes the game more crossword like. I wouldn't allow skipping that

I use Goodbudget. The appeal is that I can enter expenses from my phone, and my partner can do the same, and we can both see how much is left in each budget category. If we were to switch to a self-hosted version, it would run on a home server, but it would be accessible from anywhere. I don't think this is an option you considered.

Additionally, even if you use a third party host, it seems less likely they'd be snooping through your application data, as it would provide no benefit to their business of selling you hosting infrastructure. The providers of a budgeting app, on the other hand, have many reasons, benign and possibly not so benign, to be looking at your data.

Sorry, I have to get clarification - do you use 2-3 tbsp per cup, as in 20-30 tbsp for the pot, or 2-3 tbsp for the whole pot? The one sounds like normal coffee, while the other would almost be water in my books.

I haven't tried it, because it's outrageously expensive to get a cabin with a bed, and I don't want to sit in a chair for a week.

But it's pretty famous - we even have a song about it! [1]

I believe there's also an INPUT_PULLDOWN option, at least on some of the pins.

While I get your point, I think it's a case of the perfect being the enemy of the good. This project is miles away from being a Ring doorbell.

I guess the author found the ease of use of an ESP32 to be an acceptable tradeoff (or didn't consider its firmware to be a problem). Others may feel differently, and can modify their build accordingly.

That's an uncharitable interpretation. They likely mean they will buy Microsoft hardware until Microsoft becomes customer-unfriendly in this space.

Whether that's a much bigger signal than an upvote might be debatable, though.
