Getting banned for calling someone (a high rank politician!!!) a whore is the state of the internet in 2019.
Thing is, he's suggesting Mastodon as an alternative... there you would not only get banned for calling a woman a whore, you'd probably get doxxed and then swatted too.
Little by little Google seems to be adopting all the policies for Android that made the iPhone simply a higher quality experience.
(Enforcing using Google services to deliver notifications, aggressively killing background apps, limiting access to external storage, making it impossible to record calls, now this... and many other things I can't remember)
On one hand I'm happy because iPhones are too expensive and having more options is good, but on the other, this is still Google :P
I didn't like Gin because they don't let you use whatever routes you want. Something like /:category/:product and /user/:name (notice no ":") is not admissible because ":category" in the first route clashes with "user" in the second route (wtf?)
