you only need few thing to have a immersive experience in metaverse. first i would say a super light weight VR headset is a must. next to a photorealistic environment, which thanks to unreal engine 5 we are literally there! also the most important part in my opinion is Elon Musk's neuralink. being able to put your VR headset on, lay back on your couch and telepathically control your character's movement, is as immersive as you can get.

sadly we're probably 5-10 maybe 15 years away from a solid experience.

that hypothesis sounds about right, or at least for things that aren't my hobbies.

if your description of family times is to share interesting, meaningful, fun moments together then obviously you should even add to it. i know lots of peoples idea of it, is to just be in the same room!

interesting how nobody has any problem making time for their hobbies! why reading isn't part of your hobbies? its not suppose to be a chore.

don't try to sneak in 5 min here and 20 min there to finish some book as if world's fate depends on you reading books. cut family times in half if possible or maybe cut your hobbies time to make room for your new hobby.

and don't multitask reading either, it can work on simple books but information dense books requires full attention (same for everything else in life), unless you just wanna read for the sake of feeling smart.

the best healthy and possible way of living alone for long periods of time(especially for extroverts), is to have a reason for it. maybe you want to write a book or build something, its perfectly okay and possible to put %100 of your focus and time on a personal project, usually for 3 to 6 month or at most a year, longer then that is not ideal in my opinion.

out of that scenario is extreme introverts, who are probably agoraphobic or people who get very anxious in every human interaction.

in opposite we have extreme extroverts, who can't stand being alone. for verity of reasons. you might fall in to this category.

i don't know if most people are in extreme end or are normal.

if i had to define normal in simple term i would say: a normal introvert spend %75 of their time alone and %25 interacting with others. and other way around for a normal extrovert.

you are obviously an extrovert so there is no need for you to waterboard yourself with solitude. just incrementally add small amount of alone time to your life, to a point where you can deal with it.
