Why is that an OpenAI problem? It’s something the Kenyan government needs to solve. I fail to see why every company needs to subscribe to an SJW mindset.
They paid decent wages by Kenyan standards it seems. They did not force, exploit or abuse the workers.
The article mentions this but there are 2 main components that are not Google owned. SeL4 microkernel and the antimicro simulator. The git repo mentions that KataOS is the system services on SeL4. It is possible there is significant overlap with katacontainers.
The obvious question is why this wasn’t caught and rectified in code review? This seems to be as much a failure due to lack of oversight as opposed to the failure of the person who created the mess.
All elementary school is glorified day care. Born in 76 in India(yes, I'm getting old) - but elementary school was 2.5 hours with a 1/2 hour break. I turned out ok - didn't miss out on "educational opportunity".
