Every time I try to create a shell account, it gets banned with no reason given. Even if it's just to follow a few influencer accounts.

Maybe folks with the opposite opinion can add some context. My manager told our team the same thing using more words, as far as expectations go.

Do the booming companies pay the same as the ones who did layoffs? If you're laid off from Meta or other top tier paying company (the behemoths doing layoffs) you might have a tough time matching your compensation.

I've noticed people who are using LLMs more, myself included, are starting to talk like that.

Oops I mean, you're absolutely right, those ARE hallmark signs of an LLM. Let me breakdown why this isn't just your imagination but actually...

It's to gaslight you into thinking the nineteenth shitty enterprise SaaS for ultra-niche market is going to make you a billionaire. In reality, you're just cheap labor for lining the pockets of the VCs who will sell off their shares to the next sucker at the first chance they get.

Prison is a way to get cheap labor, and some prisons are run by publicly traded companies.

Not the best sources but you get the point.

You could have just said cheap and or inexperienced. Adding “green card” and the part about not being from here adds a layer of political and racial under tone even though green card isn’t necessarily a race.

When they called me curry girl it was a racist remark even though curry is not a race.

This might not work in your case for various reasons but, if you live in California:

“ LPT: If you live in California, manufacturers of most household electronic goods that sell for more than $100 have to provide spare parts for up to seven years, regardless of warranty status. If they can't make the parts available to you, they have to buy the product back from you.”

Every talented meche or swe I know either gets paid multitudes more somewhere else. Or has worked there and didn’t want to work 7 day weeks anymore.

It’s all anecdotal but I’ve only heard negative things about working at a Musk co.
