When you are outside in bright sunlight, your pupils will constrict, so that only a small part of the lens actually needs to darken.

Is there a reason the entire lens has to darken? If they only deposited the dye in a smaller center portion, it would be unnoticeable against a black pupil.

I also recall reading a different article (can't find it now and don't want to do too much Google searching at work for it) about how almost all the most trafficked porn sites are owned by a single entity now. From what I remember of the article, it posited that their technology has fallen behind and they have little incentive to keep pushing tech forward given the razor thin margins they have on operating the sites.

Where in the article did it say that? The only mention of price is:

Based on that, you could reasonably say it will cost $7800 or more per current GBP->USD exchange rate.

I work about 9 hours a day and spend my remaining time with my family, volunteering, going to the gym, learning guitar, etc.

There are many times where I just don't have time, desire or energy to cook a healthy meal. A healthy meal replacement is a lot better than ordering pizza.

Don't assume that a busy lifestyle means 'overwork' - I just have different priorities.

What are you observing? If you are talking about rock instruments, you are probably correct.

My son is highly involved in his high school band (concert and marching), and the gender breakdown is very instrument specific. A lot more girls play flute and clarinet while a lot more boys play sousaphone, trombone, and percussion.

Part of it is physical - not that many girls can march around with a heavy sousaphone. But I do think there is a bias that pushes girls and boys at a young age when starting out towards certain instruments.
