> You can continue to enjoy the books and articles etc

No you can't, because those people have stopped creating because the creation economy was destroyed by AI. We just keep getting recycled slop based on what existed in 2025.

Disappointing to see the release and still no implementation of multi-user sign on for local multiplayer games (like all true consoles).

As I noted when announced, it's something that doesn't get headlines, but a real barrier for enjoyment for a console-like PC. Hate being stuck with 'guest 1' and 'guest 2' or whatever. Many games want each player to progress and without true multi sign on, it just doesn't work. Hence games dropping local multiplayer on PC.

Wow. I saw 4.1B credits and thought it was super generous. But my math says the subscription plan gives less value than the API.

For example, API input is $0.435 / M tokens, which works out to 13.79 M tokens for $6.

Plan is 300 credits per input token, which works out to 13.67 M tokens at 4.1B credits per $6.

Very similar math for cache input and output.

The x.com post (by the journalist!) does not point to the actual article. I guess that's discouraged on X? Talk about social media being useless.

The main thesis is that the liabilities risk/cost from securities class action lawsuits is a tax on public companies.

I saw this story. I think the most fascinating part was halfway through (after two hours) the boy decided he had to ditch his life jacket in order to make it to shore.

What a hard and life changing decision to make at 13. Incredible.

I wonder if Steam will finally implement multi-user sign on for local multiplayer games (like all true consoles).

They were originally working on a MS teams replacement, with a bunch of things in one app like teams. (I tried it back then, it was pretty green). Now it looks like they are focused on drive, chat and email. The old app seems deprecated, so I presume they forked it into some of this new stuff.

These sorts of projects always seem to end up with the worst doctors. At the end of the day, seeing a good doctor is all the patient wants.

> Franz von Holzhausen, Tesla’s longtime design chief, said the company is looking to combine the electronic and manual door-release mechanisms, which are currently in separate locations.

I never understood this. I get that the electronic release is "cool" or something, but it never made any sense to me that it wasn't integrated with or connected to a manual release.

Edit: my math was bad.

> What is the alternative, ask them not to tell?

The moment the seals fired the rifles the mission was over, a complete failure.

So the obvious alternative was to abort without killing everyone. The vaunted seals can't escape from a fishing boat? Nothing was accomplished by this mission other than killing a bunch of fishermen. For shame.
