What makes you think censorship ceases to be censorship when it is automated?

>What I'm saying is that there's no conclusive proof there's some sort of grand conspiracy at work here.

Could you define what you mean by "grand conspiracy"? And what conclusive proof of it would look like?

>2) Is there something special about meat computers called brains or your definition of “consciousness” that precludes this?

This statement contains so many false assumptions.

For starters, there is much more to consciousness than just the brain... when has there ever been a brain in isolation that was conscious?

And we also don't know how the brain (and the rest of the organism/environment) create consciousness.

>Concepts like "consciousness" are unscientific

If science can't explain something, does that make it unscientific, and thus useless to discuss?

>Wax poetic about freedoms all you want, but public health is not the place for it.

If people are not free to make poor health decisions, when are we going to lockdown Mcdonalds?

>An overwhelming majority of people who have been hospitalized, needed a ventilator or died from Covid-19 have been overweight or obese, the CDC said

>Free speech is a core liberal value.

That is true of classical liberals, but not neo liberals.

Adding more anecdata:

1. Had covid early 2021, felt like a mild cold for a week, couldn't smell my farts for 3 weeks. No heart issues.

2. 8 months later, got the Pfizer double dose, and had 6 weeks of heart pain and palpitations. Finally got in to see the doctor after the pain was basically gone, and the EKG showed an irregular heart beat and I was told to go to the emergency room... Got an echocardiagram the next week which turned out normal, thankfully.

Still waiting on that $1,000+ medical bill to come in the mail for the 20 minute echocardiagram...

>Perhaps these are the death throes of a dying propaganda machine?

This is my thought as well.

Its funny how quickly we've gone from people trying to redefine censorship, i.e.: "it's not censorship if a corporation does it!", to just blatantly pathetic attempts to squash dissent like this latest move.

It's just blind speculation. There is absolutely no historical precedent of Big Tech corporations implementing censorship controls at the behest of governments. Anyone claiming otherwise is spreading misinformation and should be censored.

Guilty until proven innocent is an incompatible maxim for civilised society.

>Is there anything, any issue, that doesn't involve large corporations making lots of money?

Preventative health practices, especially those utilizing simple, unpatentable, natural tools and techniques.
