A fundraising tool for great causes. Find someone from your community(church, school, other) 1) Rideshare your commute 2) Rider gas money goes to a charity (easily can get to $1000-$2000 a year) 3. Save the planet.
I am looking for a Business Cofounder! There are currently some issues with signup. Really looking for feedback on the concept.
Fundrider is a fundraising app(and fellowship app with members of a community[church, charity, school]). It not marketed as a carpooling app. Non-profits would use it to put together an event(Ride for Life) and/or have recurring donations by continuing fundrider.
Here's the math. 20mpg car uses 1 gal to get to work, thats $4. times 10 commutes a week thats $40. Times 50 weeks thats $2000 in gas that a fundrider can donate to a great cause. If their company does matching, they can give $4000 in a year to Dog Rescue without it costing then anything. It's green, it's changes the carpool game, and gives money to charity not oil companies..
Or... you find players that are obsessive 1st person shooter players, you cross reference their mental health history and access to guns. That pops up Adam Lanza in Newtown. You engage him and coerce him. hmm..

Good points about the marketing and tour. I really want it to convey this is the solution to outrageous gas prices, global warming, dependence on foreign oil. It's also the right time with wireless laptops and mobile phones to give up driving. and that these web technologies are the right product.
I previewed Microspaces 'Nested GUI' technology on HN (http://www.nestedguis.com)... and based on the feedback made a few changes. I haven't launched the sites I've built on top of it yet. but very soon.
I would agree in some cases. I only said you don't use click to navigate because I didn't understand what your issue was. You can click out anywhere... On the title, the nav bar, or the web links. That will open in a new tab. Would that address the speed/clicking usability.?

Where is the slowness you have? The pics loading, or the hover reacting? I don't have any.. except when previewing the hovered sites and waiting for them to load.
Thanks. I'm hoping people are receptive to the concept... Trying to blend it with the way you surf now. I think you'll see microspaces built that will be real helpful for novice to advanced.
