Hong Kong government can get fucked, I no longer have any incentive to visit so fuck that tax bill that will only get channeled to corrupt forces ran by the mainlanders.
It's a sad situation though because the Hong Kong people are genuinely lovely people, polar opposite of a cross the border. Sure call me out, but the belief is stronger in native hong longers than the expat community, you have to live there to appreciate.
