I think it's very natural that code in questions is vulnerable to SQL injections as it should be a stripped down example demonstrating the issue that the poster is dealing with, not necessarily a copy-paste of code that's in production.
I created a fork of AnyBar with added support for specifying an icon id for any icon from icons8.com and the status icon will change to it. https://github.com/niklasberglund/AnyBar-icons
Just now quickly whipped it together. Needs improvement(error handling and asynchronous downloading) and packages.
Agreed. Any plans on releasing this open source? Would be cool if others who are interested could set up country-by-country versions for Asia for example. Like one for Vietnam, Japan etc.
The developer portal at https://developer.nutiteq.com mentions OpenStreetMap, but the start and product pages doesn't. No link either. Perhaps you provide more sources, I haven't looked into the product very carefully. Your support told me OSM is used as map data source, didn't mention any other source. My understanding of the OSM license agreement is that you have to make it more explicit. But I'm no lawyer.
