I constantly worry about violent, racist, and sexually-explicit content. I’m currently doing manual content moderation but I’m exploring other ways to prevent them. Youtube has implemented AI tech to flag inappropriate content, so that’s something I’m considering.
In the mean time, my focus is to make this anonymous discussion board a healthy place for honest discussions.
Every programming language has its pros and cons. And many of them overlap.
A product’s success has nothing to do with which language or framework you choose. They are there to help you develop something that works as per your needs.
You mentioned your product deals with chat messaging. So I would suggest using something like NodeJS + SQL for the backend. NodeJS for its ability to handle high volume of events. SQL for managing the chat history of each person in a relational way.
There's a bubble. A bubble of desperation. You can't put your money in the bank due to the low interest rates. Traditional businesses are not doing well. Investors are desperate to put their money to work. So we see bubbles in tech, bubbles in cryptocurrencies, bubbles in startups.
Best to watch what the legendary investors are doing. People like Warren Buffett, Prem Watsa, and the likes.
I know right, we need this in all of the airports right now. Why are we still spending 1 hour in the queue just to check in?
I understand the initial cost involved in setting up something like his, but the time and cost savings you get far will more than cover the initial cost.
I think the source needs to be strong. I'm currently using a wifi extender and noticed the speed isn't good when I move the extender to a room further from the source.
