My favourite horse racing game is Knizia Winner’s Circle.

Long Shot: The dice game is also another decent option.

Ready set bet didn’t really work for me. But for a group that likes the more social side and yelling it seems good.

I agree. I generally bounce off those sort of games.

I gravitate towards games that have simpler rulesets with deep gameplay. I’m a big fan of Reiner Knizia but also Phil Walker-Harding and David Thompson.

When I was a team lead I used to play board games as fun activity after releases.

I find it’s a great activity for people that aren’t that social. You get to participate in a group activity where your focus is on the game. Choosing the right game for the group is important though.

I play a lot of games solo it’s how I got into board games. Was looking for an alternative to video games when I was having RSI issues.

There are lot of solo only games and most cooperative games allow for solo play. During the pandemic it became pretty popular.

I do a mix of solo, in person and online with boardgamearena.

Green Team Wins is a board game that is based on consensus. Players answer simple questions that don’t really have a correct answer. Eg. Pie or Cake. The answer with the majority wins. It’s a fun game to play with family or coworkers.

I also have it I’m in my late forties and only found out last year. It blew my mind people saw, heard and smelled things in there mind.

I barely ever dream.

Guided meditation has never worked for me.

I have a crazy good sense of direction. My girlfriend doesn’t understand how that works if I can’t see it in my mind.

I do have vivid recall of what things look like but I don’t see them at all.

It all made so much more sense when I figured this out.
