To put it plainly, in America, the value of Healthcare compared to the cost is shit.
Your beholden to your employment to keep it and if you work for a smaller company they usually have shittier plans leading to worse bargaining power. Also if that company is looking to cut costs they may choose even worse plans which you have ZERO control over.
Just because that's the way it is doesn't mean things couldn't improve.
"But I already have enough food so like this doesn't really apply to me "
I find it really hard to understand how people will continually go against their own self interests to align with their beliefs, without question.
Things can be different, things do change and we're not always right.
Data has shown we could all be spending considerably less on Healthcare with single player [1] and not be at the mercy of our employment for it... But it's still shunned because it's socialism or some other reason.
I'm not a developer mind you but devops. And while I reuse code regularly as well, when new projects come up, I'll ramp up with said boilerplate. Though thats typically in only required if it's something new.
I'm begging to feel like the only way that'll ever have a chance to happen is if the show Designated Survivor becomes reality. Obviously many of the trash will be replaced by more trash but perhaps not all of it.
How long ago was this and have the machines changed over the years? Because this ice cream machine always broken seems like anew phenomenon compared to my tenure back around 97.
I was there for about a year IIRC, other than cleaning the machine "making ice cream" was dumping the premixed liquid into the top two compartments.
I'm glad you posted this info but this is where I'm stuck.
My mbp 2015 is the only Intel device I have Available and the main position died...so my only working position is windows and I'm running into issues getting into recovery. Even internet recovery wont work :/.
Purchased a washer and dryer set when our old unit was shot and had multiple issues within two years. Also purchased an oven with a similar outcome.
Fortunately my tv is going strong ish. Had to have the mainboard replaced around 4-5 years and patiently waiting for the day it won't power on. The TV situation isn't as horrible with my only lasting gripe being hdmi-cec getting out of sync and only full power loss for 15-30+ minutes seems to fix it.
I'm avoiding their products like the plague after all this....
Their designs look great but... lipstick on a pig.
