The borderlands suffered annual Tatar invasions. From the beginning of the 16th century until the end of the 17th century, Crimean Tatar slave raiding bands[56] took about two million slaves from Russia and Ukraine.[57] According to Orest Subtelny, "from 1450 to 1586, eighty-six Tatar raids were recorded, and from 1600 to 1647, seventy."[58] In 1688, Tatars captured a record number of 60,000 Ukrainians.[59] The Tatar raids took a heavy toll, discouraging settlement in more southerly regions where the soil was better and the growing season was longer. The last remnant of the Crimean Khanate was finally conquered by the Russian Empire in 1783.[60]

Pale of Settlements is a good start.

The brutal murders of Jews and Poles occurred during the Khmelnytsky Uprising of 1648–1657 in present-day Ukraine.[22] Modern historians give estimates of the scale of the murders by Khmelnytsky's Cossacks ranging between 40,000 and 100,000 men, women and children,[23][24] or perhaps many more.[25]

Do you know that there has been Russian vs. Ukrainian fighting for nearly a 1000 years (maybe more)?

Russians were slaughtering Ukrainians before the world knew of the North American continent.

Ok, who is to blame outside the hand-waiving of the whole world? And I guess we should just throw out common criminal law foundations of 5000 years.

Fine, I say lets blame the sun.

Kidding aside, this is exactly how it will go down. Politician in a scrape of financial corruption or etc.? Deepfake s*x video or other viral blatant misinformation & obfuscation; what's the risk? Upside, no one knows what to believe. Exactly what various "countries" are doing. It will be extreme; to the point where, don't believe half of what you actually see.

Here is the article: https://www.technologyreview.com/2014/07/15/172055/an-explan...

Again, not sure if this turned out to be correct; but from reading reports on the ground and the lives Israel claimed it saved (and building more of them,) it seems evident he was in fact wrong.

Ill never forget when the Iron Dome was first rolling out, this rocket researcher on the internet said it couldn't be done. He explained it pretty well, and I was convinced. Search google for Iron dome doesn't work (looking back to 2010-14) And yet, it does work (mostly).

So basically what I'm saying, this stuff is hard, and few people in the world can even verify your claim, never mind have access to the tech or AI behind it. But i'd bet with the Israelis.
