Most screen time apps either lock you out completely or give you so much flexibility that they’re easy to bypass. While working with teams and individuals, we noticed the real challenge isn’t just “blocking apps” but finding a balance between productivity and freedom. With Kaizen Protect, we tried to design a tool that helps people take control of their digital habits without feeling restricted. Along the way, we learned a lot about behavioral design, attention management, and the psychology behind why existing tools often fail. I’d love to hear thoughts from this community on how others have approached digital wellbeing.
