I find their approach of "drag and drop these 6 words to form a sentence" or "fill in the missing word in this sentence" was just leading me to recognize correct patterns of letters, not words or meaning.

"aog" always goes after "Lor" and before "san" (obviously made up example) - I couldn't tell you what the individual words meant or what the full sentence said; but I knew that those groups of letters belonged in that order.

I'm also a lapsed B2 in German and played around with that course a few years ago. 3 or 4 weeks ago I got an email that they finally accepted my correction on a blatantly incorrect translation, which had apparently been unfixed in one of their most popular courses for years.

Wait, how are they connecting 32 drives to that motherboard? They seem to be implying they are splitting each SATA plug 4 ways, which as far as I know is impossible.

The adapter they're linking to is SF8087 to 4x SATA, not SATA to 4x SATA (which shouldn't exist). That motherboard doesn't have SF8087, it has 8 SATA3 connections.

Unless I've missed something big, SF8087 can not be plugged into SATA3.

From the project description [1]:

Wikipedia dumps raw database tables in a gzipped SQL format for the English language Wikipedia (enwiki) approximately once a month (e.g. dump from February 1, 2018)...By default, the script grabs the latest dump (available at https://dumps.wikimedia.your.org/enwiki/latest/), but you can also call the database creation script with a download date in the format YYYYMMDD as the first argument.

I'd guess the tool is working off an out of date article.

Yeah, that really confused me. Distance from "M.C. Escher" to "Lucky Charms" sounds interesting only to get:

You'll probably want to choose the start and end pages before you hit that.
Took me a while to realize it didn't "lock in" the suggestions and I had to manually enter it.
