Yes, you’re certainly right about that. I often find that the gallery view in Zoom is the best possible interface. And the limitations of real life might not be better on a screen. But I’m still left wondering...isn’t something more creative possible here?
This is helpful. Core takeaway at the end: "That suggests that to get the best of both worlds – to minimize the Work Premium as well as the work of running a full fundraise – founders should use pre-emptive offers to run an accelerated, abbreviated process with a handful of select investors. The way to do this is for founders to make sure they are cultivating relationships with a subset of investors they think would be good partners for their company far in advance of their actual raise."
This is really cool. I dreamed of something like this back when I first started coding in college, but there wasn't really anything available that could do the job.
Last year, we started playing around with smart contracts for Ethereum. We thought it was way too difficult to get started with all the different tools out there. That led us to make Pragma (www.withpragma.com). It's a tool where you can write, deploy, and interact with Ethereum smart contracts all in your browser. We'd love to hear your thoughts on the product, from what other features you would find useful, to picking holes in the product. I'm also curious to hear if/what you're building with smart contracts.
