You're conflating better for apple (and shareholders) with better for the country overall.

So you happen to be a rare example of someone that buys a new car recently, and you live on a narrow road, and you like to do a semi rare act when wide cars approach. And that has shown you a bit of the EU insanity. Now imagine just how many rules/regulations like this there actually are that you just aren't the aware of. It's insane.

I gotta be honest, I personally don't think someone playing wordle is a gamer by the common usage of the word.

Facebook marketplace for one.

I sold cars for a decade and wouldn't even take the insanely cheap priced company demo car, just driving my 10 year old car instead.

On that note though, most car salesman are somewhat stupid, although the best ones are atleast normal. (I was a cal mechE grad and top 0.2% nationwide car salesman). They also slowly brainwash themselves into believing most of what they say.

What's crazy is these people want to invest decent money to use AI/LLMs, but somehow don't think to just ask an AI chat bot which would easily answer it for them and any follow-up questions.

Next you're going to tell me that car salesman recommend just leasing new cars, doctors recommend just following the standard of care, construction workers just recommend subbing it out, and your tech friends say just use AWS.

That's clever, and I can't imagine or explain it as easily. Something to do with a reference point moving away from you so when solving for bringing it back to zero it's different than just adding the two energies back together. You have to add up the energy of catching them all up to the initial starting reference. I think also because distance is one unit, so moving reference pointe is easier. Moving reference points on distance over time already gets my spidey senses going that it's not something you should do without some real understanding.

Because things like energy are relative. So if you label the ground 0, and go up 10 feet, you get x energy. Going up another exact same x from your 10 foot ladder spot you could now call 0 again, would mean you gain x energy again. Since they're both the same height, and you gained the same energy, you could infer double the height has double energy.

I had the same hunch when I saw it, which is either pure genius on the part of the author/publisher or pure lol meme magic.

Yes and the world has 6 billion researchers too because we Google things.

It's a lot more useful though when words have meaning and we take them seriously, otherwise nothing really makes sense.

Well California automatically pays more than most of the country. And I believe FedEx has some Union drivers. And yes, just like the average software engineer salary isn't all that dang high, when we discuss the industry we tend to look at the most successful group we aspire to be in, not the burnouts that aren't that good at their job.

That's not a good analogy because you had to work and contribute to get your SS, while the new illegal has money spent on him for basically breaking the law and sneaking into the country over overstaying his visa.

Half the world's population is easily too young or too old or too poor or too rich to be gamers. So that 3 billion stat alone shows me people love just counting any moments spent in a video game at all for who knows what reason on any super bad quality 'game' as gamers.

Funny story, my parents also bought a new windows 11 laptop because of random trouble on their older windows 10 laptop. Used only for a media PC to HDMI out to the living room tv. They control it via wireless mouse and keyboard from the sofa.

The new windows 11 laptop was slower, weirder, and got stuck on some update. So back to Costco it went after 75 days of the 90 day return Policy.

I installed Linux Mint Mate on the old windows 10 laptop and they're happy.

Calling 1 in 7 people on Earth a gamer is a stretch, unless we're calling preloaded trivial game players, gamers.. and even then I'm not sure.

Well I have no pitch, unless "as little processed food as possible and no nightlife" is a sellable ebook.

Spam I assume would need to be pushing some product or at least agenda.

A message reminding people that you can improve the resistance to basic colds/flu for a school teacher, tested on several school teachers, should be motivating for someone tired of being sick.

Am I down voted because people think I am just lying for fun, or because the idea that eating right and avoiding tight places packed with people keeping you from getting sick is upsetting?

There's many types. I sold Audi/Porsche and every now and then I'd sell a fancy car to a FedEx driver type that does long haul runs to other states (with a team driver next to him), and he'd be making $150k a year+. Not bad for 4 days a week work, and ability to live in a slightly lower cost area.

Truck drivers making $80k a year and home most nights is pretty common.
