literally every potent drug has strong side effects. Nicotine is just one of them, a powerful stimulant and analgesic. Many problems with it lie in self-medication and mass production.
IT in many libraries is heavily underinvested, both in pay and infrastructure.
So, you have too few, average or below-average workers, annoyed with constant struggle with old software / hardware (plus standard IT support problems, like workers resetting their computers by turning the screen of and on again).
Woops, a disk in our 9-year-old array just died. Let me fill that form for financial director, and explain we really do need to buy a new one. Pray so that spare disk won't die in the meantime. "No, we cannot buy a cheaper one". What, new server? We just bought you a brand new expensive hard drive 6 months ago!
I can totally agree. Humans are most fertile around early twenties, but as a young (23) parent I'd say it is not the best age to actually raise children.
We're impatient. We have much "explosive" energy, the kind not really suitable for watching a newborn for hours.

I think this is worldwide: If you're not able to protect yourself, no one will.
wooow, multi-billion-dollar-megacorporation striped together 16 expensive cameras with a piece of plastic :OO
so what, actually. They find ways to continue maximizing profit from their commercial platform. Which was at its most-cool when it was community-mostly.
It looks similar to: http://www.bandycituska.pl/
this guy claims to be undergoing tortures inspired by Polish prime minister, thousands of people round the world involved.
He even has a botnet and sends tons of spam mail linking to his website. Some kind of a syndrome?
DAMN that's overpriced.
And isn't that the exact opposite of "hacking"? I mean - buying some expensive easy-to-use stuff designed to work together?
But that's just my opinion. Maybe I got it wrong.
