No reason to be uncivil. It's a bit of a stretch to say that "clanker" is related to race in any way. Lots of slurs have nothing to do with race, you're projecting your own bias and prejudices as some sort of universal linguistic truth. In highschool band the percussionists called the wind section "honkers," were they making some vailed n-word allusion? No, it was silly and the wind section were all blowhards so we made fun of them with a little in-group slur.
I immediately copy/pasted in some smut to check if it was going to lecture me on my moral failings and was pleasantly shocked to find a corporate AI model that did what I asked without pushing puritanical nonsense one me.
Pretty clear where your values are here. Personally I quite like a system that's explicitly not being designed to drive revenue, and would like to interact with other people that also want to be in a place with a higher value then the dollar bill. Im perfectly happy to let people with your values stay on twitter away from me.
"Explain X (an acronym) in the context of Y" has become by go-to use case for chatgpt, super good and cuts through a lot of the nonsense you run into when trying to pose the question to google.
Back when I had to work be on call there was a minimum number of hours, so if I got a call at 2am from a client and I fixed the problem in 15 minutes I would still bill both them and the company for 2 hours. Not sure if there's a law mandating this or it was just the company policy.
