As Scabld’s co-creator, I stepped into a user’s shoes: asked for a task app, got Flutter code + preview in ~10 mins. The speed blew me away, but it’s still rough, needs some polish before launch. We’re tweaking it daily. Curious what you’d expect from it? scabld.com

Vibe coding’s shaking up app development: natural language prompts, like a casual chat between two regular folks, get fed to an AI, churning out executable code (Flutter, React, you name it), compiled and previewed live. This isn’t your drag-and-drop no-code gig; it’s a fresh stack tapping LLMs to slash dev cycles.

Tools like Lovable, Bolt, and soon Scabld are driving this. With Scabld, we’re leaning on Flutter and Claude 3.7 Sonnet to target mobile, web, and desktop apps from a single prompt.

So, vibe coding, paradigm shift or fleeting trend? What do you think?

To me, no-code like Bubble’s isn’t dead, it’s still got legs depending on who you are and what you need. But vibe coding? It’s wild. It’s for hackers who’d rather iterate than architect, or devs prototyping without slogging through boilerplate. Skeptics call it a fancy gadget, but I see a force multiplier.

Hello, I’m taking all your feedback into account and I understand the lack of trust you mentioned. We’ve resolved the situation with the website, and you can now find our faces on X, which I’ll link to on the landing page. Regarding pricing, we’ve chosen to do things differently to give you more transparency. You’ll be able to see your usage directly on the interface, and you can also find the explanation in our FAQ.

Hello, We don’t send emails when someone joins the waitlist, so it’s normal that you haven’t received anything. We’ll send one out when we reach the launch phase. Thank you for your advice. We’re going to add a contact form so you can ask us any questions you’d like! I understand the need to feel reassured and to be able to contact us directly.
