It usually works, but sometimes it'll try to use git instead of jj at random and needs a reminder. As JJ is not completely stable it tries some old commandline versions as well. This improved after I put in some lines in my agents file, but still it's much better at complex changes with git than jj.

I worked with JJ for half a year, and it was great. However, I've since decided to go back to GIT because of compatibility with existing workflows and AI tools.

Pre-commit hooks are not possible [yet?], which is a minor inconvenience. Worse, workspaces/worktrees use a different mechanism. This causes like Claude Desktop (which uses worktrees) to break. Also Claude and other agents are always confused about JJ and fall back to git too often.

Try Claude code. It’s different.

After you tried it, come back.

Claude has a nice answer to your riddle:

Claude Code could code all the Claudes Claude Code could code, because Claude Code already coded the Claude that codes Claude Code.

Or more philosophically: The answer is recursively infinite, because each Claude that gets coded can then help code the next Claude, creating an ever-improving feedback loop of Claude-coding Claudes. It's Claudes all the way down!

A used tesla model 3 in the Netherlands is upwards of 20k euro, so quite a different price bracket.

Nice, we did the same recently.

The choice was

2016 100k km Golf Plus for 16k eur
  2020 50k km e-Golf for 13k eur
I'm so glad we picked the e-golf! It's so fast and nice to drive and cheap to run. Only downside is the limited range (200km on a summer day) but even my commute (100km one-way) is OK as I can charge at work and home.

That said, we still have a Touran for when we need to drive further or with lots of luggage.

If only the chairs in the eGolf were a bit better...
