It's just funny how every single open policy that US has that supports real freedom is either being gamed or swept away now. We're done.

Sure, except the bill rate for my services hasn't changed since like 1998. It sucks, dude.

Reading through the comments, people already said it all, but I came back to vent. After 20 years in this shitty business I can vent if I want to.

I currently work in the US Midwest with a lot of foreign colleagues. They're pretty good people, OVERALL, but the ones that aren't are super-shitty, but that's true of the pastey-white native born Americans, too. But when the going gets tough, and when you need to be creative, the folks from, let's call it "that other place" just don't have any solutions.

Many of the people I work with wait for me to build a solution, then they literally copy and paste it into their project whether or not the design suitably fits their problem. A lot of projects here are a mess because of this "square peg in round hole" behavior. Worse, many of those guys get promoted above their mental capacity and now they're calling the shots and making horrific decisions because they networked with each other and shut out the truly competent people. This is the tippy top of the Fortune 500 here I'm talking about, btw. This is not some Mom & Pop podunk shop and the stakes are high. And so if this constitutes "best and brightest" we're in deep doodoo.

Doomsday clock == bullshit.

I can't believe people fall for such horseshit.

Climate-based migration? It's been going on for the entire history of the human race.

Prepping and "bugging out" is a waste of time if 10 million other people have to do the same thing, I hope you like the taste of "long pork" because that's all there is going to be to eat. No matter where you go, you will end up having to fight off hordes of other people to protect your one can of baked beans. And correct me if I'm wrong, but Australians turned in most of their guns (idiots) so I guess it will be pretty medieval there if things really do go bad.

As a civilization, the West has completely lost its way in terms of self-sufficiency. If the just-in-time delivery process in the US suffers a major blow, millions will starve and become feral very rapidly. That's what all the "zombie" bs was about--a nice way to approach a not so nice issue of city people who live hand to mouth coming for those who have whatever food exists.

I live just outside a major metro area. I have no illusions about how bad things will get if modern delivery systems falter or if the US Govt. stops paying people not to work. It is all very precarious, but it if and when it fails, the prepper types just live just a tiny bit longer than everyone else, or maybe less since they will be pillaged.

Not sure where my post went, but I want to think through this some more:

First, we have allegations of Google building an email communications system in North Korea which was assumed to be outside of the each of the spying apparatus of Five Eyes. This system was allegedly designed for the corrupt elements within the US and within the global elite to be able to communicate beyond the reach of the NSA. The "wild conspiracy theory" is that this faction planned to start a nuclear war and would skip off to NK and other designated safe zones (Kazakhstan?) to ride out the war and its aftermath while we all burned. This is also why we got all those media stories about the elite building private bunkers and hidey-holes in New Zealand and other far off places. They all knew or had ideas about what was planned for "regular people."

Next, we have this story about Chinese bugging all these computers. This was how they were going to seize control of key systems at key times in order to take control. They had already done it--the missile warning in Hawaii? Military aircraft losses? Other compromised systems?

We know the Clintons sold nuclear secrets to China. We also know they in general aided and abetted Chinese intelligence operations. We just don't know what they sold out, other than an email server that they allowed spies to log in to in order to read classified information. But that was just the tip of a very large iceberg.

My suspicion is that corrupt elements in our own intelligence agencies did the bugging of all these computers and when they got caught red-handed, it is all "compartmentalize, burn bags, deny, blame shift to China." Truth is, China could not have pulled this off without inside help.

Now we know what all those payments to the Clinton Foundation were for.

My interpretation after reading several articles is that there had to be collusion from within the US's own ranks. The CIA itself and that what you will later find out is that this is what the Clintons "sold" to China was our own corrupted intelligence agency.

Youtube has a lot of solid content, tutorials, documentaries, reviews. I've learned so much there and done so very efficiently. I wouldn't sweat the "fake" information, it's not that big of a deal.

That's the first thing that guy has said that isn't totally batshit insane. But yes, am always suspicious of that guy and his motives--there's just too many allegations flying around about him and his organization keeps getting disinvited from whole countries. Vote tampering in the US? Media agenda-setting?
