Every Lenovo I have used at work in the past 2 years has put out this super high pitched sound. Like the sound you could hear from an old tv. It drives me absolutely out of my mind to the point where I have to wear headphones when using one.
This is hardly specialized knowledge but in 24 after every commercial break we were treated to a digital clock displaying the current time. They were using some digital clock number font that was not monospaced so the numbers spread and shrink right in front of you as the clock "ticks", which of course would never happen on a real clock face.
I would buy the public service line if more then half of our mail didn't go straight into the trash. I am excited when I see a Fedex box on the door step. Not so much when I see a mail box full of junk addressed to current resident.
Crowds are actually what segways are best at. You can easily control your speed and turn in place. There is a reason mall cops use them rather then bikes.
The only extra "configuration" I have experienced with rails 3 is adding routes as I used to abuse the default routes. But yes they decoupled a lot of things but it's not like you have to require them through xml config files there is no change in set up. It still works as usual in the default configuration This is just link bait.
Worse case scenario you can always just go in and make every one of your pixels blue for your avatar and you are back where you were. But I agree I need like a flashing arrow pointing to you when you first load.
Thanks, Yeah I should have guessed that people would try and trap people. That seems to have worked out on its own as every wall near the start has been vaporized now.
The author here. The whole thing is written in Rails and hosted on Heroku which has been great. Canvas was surprisingly easy to work with coming from almost no javascript experience. Anyways let me know what you think. Thanks
The automatic restart caused us no end of difficulties at my work. We were running long running data loading integration test scripts on windows boxes. Nothing worse then finding out that the script that was supposed to run over the weekend made it 8 hours then the machine rebooted to install updates.
