Instead of criticizing the language used why don’t you create the same style of informative website for whatever language you want? It would be pretty neat to have the same website with the option to select what language to see the examples.
Honestly I love the Javascript Eco system. I love change and js is only getting better and better. Learning a new framework is fun. On top of that it keeps js development marketable. The wages for front end development have sky rocketed which imo is amazing.
Well docker kinda solves the problem. And nodejs is pretty easy to setup. Amazon offers a slue of services geared towards what you are talking about. I also thing there are a few startups addressing these kinds of issues.. but they have specific use cases. Check out: https://serverless.com/
I think most people research movies before going to see them, I rarely purchase something without researching it. IMO the less invasive the better, if I have to see an ad id prefer it to be general. IMO the benefits of personalized ads are far less than the cost of having them. Given your example the ad supplier would know if you have kids or not.. In getting this info what else do they know about you? Are your kids adopted? Are you married? Sexual orientation etc.. The cost is great to have personalized ads.
Maybe I'm just ignorant but how can the House of Commons support this well also once supporting the wars that followed 911. To me it's as if they are admitting they had no business attacking the surrounding countries.
That sucks. Pretty sure France has strong surveillance laws and that still happened. If anything it proves that stronger surveillance doesn't stop terrorism.
So you want software regulations on how code ought to be done? Forcing the separation of components based on safety... what even warrants a component to fall under these regulations. Such a dangerous slope. Just think of a time when regulation is at its peak and people want to innovate but can't due to law restrictions / regulations. Being trapped by standards that are produced by people who know nothing about software.
The problem with making it public is it would start this process of regulation. Then it gives way for these regulations to be used in such a way that would greatly restrict software creativity and growth.
Yeah that is kinda my point. I am upset that GM wasn't held to this standard of accountability or any other car company for that matter. I agree with you that this one is as bad or worse.
As bad as it is to screw the environment.. I am still shocked by all the out rage coming from countries. Its like everyone forgot GM knowingly left faulty parts that were killing people for 10 years. This entire thing seems so political.
