He was helping up a woman that was on the ground. LEO needlessly got involved and started and escalated the "shoving match."
Dude. LEO shot him on purpose. You use the passive voice like it was a natural disaster or accident. He had no fire arm on him at the time of the shooting. Why are you so insistent on spinning things this way?
Was he executed for committing an offense(which is what you seem to be getting at, by making assumptions about Pretti, instead of focusing on self-defense)?
I hope you don't think that, that would be honestly disgusting. I'd strongly disagree with your stance for vigilantism and against law-and-order.
Or was he killed in self defense? And if so, why would the ICE agents be in fear for their life? I didn't see a reason myself but I want to know your perspective. Was there something in the video?
I'm taking a charitable interpretation of your take for sure. I do see the value of additional levers, but I don't think realistically it would be feasible to make such a court.
Counter-point: I don't think Chauvin would've been brought to justice if he were tried in some kind of cop-court.
I'm open minded though, I appreciate your perspective, gave me food for thought.
Welcome to the free marketplace of ideas, dude. Talk about the issue I'm talking about instead of ranting on some vague generalization about how "believing your own eyes" is bad sometimes, thus is always bad???
If someone were talking disprovable nonsense about fairies, it would be totally fair to bring up counter-evidence. This comment of yours is substanceless.
DHS lies as easily as they breathe. They have proven they cannot be believed.
A previous example:
You can watch the video for yourself of an ICE masked thug grabbing a man's carotid artery, when NOT facing a deadly threat, against DOJ rules. You can watch him seize and his eyes roll back. And you can choose to believe your eyes or DHS' lies. What do you think, zahlman?
> In a social media post after the incident and in its statement to ProPublica, DHS did not cite a deadly threat. Instead, it referenced the charges against Zapata Rivera’s wife and suggested he had only pretended to have a medical crisis while refusing help from paramedics. “Imagine FAKING a seizure to help a criminal escape justice,” the post said.
ICE using chokeholds in defiance of DOJ standards for use of force.
> after more than an hour, agents held down Zapata Rivera’s arms. One, who Zapata Rivera’s lawyer says wore a baseball cap reading “Ne Quis Effugiat” — Latin for “So That None Will Escape” — pressed his thumbs into the arteries on Zapata Rivera’s neck. The young man then appeared to pass out as bystanders screamed.
> The technique is known as a carotid restraint. The two carotid arteries carry 70% of the brain’s blood flow; block them, and a person can quickly lose consciousness. The tactic can cause strokes, seizures, brain damage — and death.
> In a bystander video of Zapata Rivera’s arrest, his eyes roll back in his head and he suffers an apparent seizure, convulsing so violently that his daughter, seated in his lap, shakes with him.

Is this new information to you, koolba? Or do you believe this is enforcement of laws on the books?
> they didn’t arrest the co-conspirator that egged the decedent on
Glad to see you've abandoned trying to defend your lie that shooting at a vehicle is self-defence and moved on to another nonsense argument. But co-conspirator in what crime?
> save that for BlueSky where you can have a safe space.
I don't need a safe space from you. Your trolling doesn't affect me.
