Apple doesn't break out revenue for Music and it's highly unlikely they are profitable, or if they are, it ain't by much.

The labels have a monopoly on talent and content, It's impossible for anyone to make significant money in the streaming game when they have a stranglehold on the supply.

Spotify has never reported an annual profit in its entire existence.

If they were just deciding their cut "arbitrarily" they are doing a bad job of it.

The reality is labels have all the leverage and extract all of the profits because they have a monopoly on talent and content

Spotify literally has never turned an annual profit because labels extract all of the $ due to the monopoly they have on content.

Artists should be mad at the labels THEY entered into contracts with, not spotify.

Every single one of the cities with large homeless populations have absurdly high housing costs.

All the people in this thread are refusing to acknowledge that may play some causal factor because the solution might involve slightly lowering their property values.

So is your assertion that cities in WV "disappear" their homeless population?

Show your work here. It's actually not simple at all because per capita drug abuse is far worse in WV so if that's the causal mechanism then you should see tons of homeless in WV.

...and what do we know about housing costs of cities on the west coast?

You're getting REALLY close to getting this.

If this were true why are the giant homeless populations almost exclusively in insanely expensive housing markets like SF, LA, NYC?

Drug addiction is far worse in WV yet they don't have a major homeless problem.

Explain this discrepency please if it's all because of drugs

Really amazing to try and offer perspective of a "native" with some unique insights about a community only to offer up the same tired NIMBY arguments you hear in every housing-starved city.

ANd then to claim that your homeless problem is fine because you put them in a slum tent city with "services" is truly the icing on the cake lol
