I’m not sure this is what you’re looking for, but I love NTS Radio.
It’s basically 2 radio stations that both stream 24 hours a day. Different people host 1-2 hour shows once a week or month.
You can browse archives by host, mood, and genre tags. The app includes each show’s playlists, and you can search spotify for songs (at least in ios) played on each episode. It’s become one of my favorite music discovery tools. And it’s free.
We have a bathroom just off our living room that has a very large mirror above the vanity. The cat likes to get drinks out of the bathroom sink (we’re trained).
If she sits on a corner of the vanity when the bathroom door is open, she can see the living room in the mirror. She will stare into the mirror until she sees someone look at her. When she catches your eye, the meowing to turn on the sink begins.
She also stares at herself in a hallway mirror a lot. We think she thinks she’s pretty.
Not an attempt to refute your points, but just some input. IG is the only social media platform I’m still on, and I don’t think anyone except meme accounts, influencers, brands are posting anymore.
1. My wife and I have been joking for a couple of years about the large number of old acquaintances & family members that follow us that haven’t posted in years. They still watch every story we post though!
2. IG just re-introduced the ability to sort your feed chronologically. When I first looked at my chronological feed, it was immediately clear that they took it away because there wasn’t enough new content anymore. I follow between 250-300 accounts and there is consistently less than 20 accounts posting a day (and those are mostly meme or ‘influencer’ accounts).
It is possible that I’m just following boring people though.
I like this a lot. I’ve struggled with… let’s call it unhappiness a lot in my life. I spent years trying to work through deep emotional things intellectually, but the things that really got me on the right track were:
1. Sleeping 8 hours a day
2. Eating less processed foods & more fruits and vegetables
3. Walking
Simple things, and they all took time to turn into habits, but better health/more energy eventually made everything else so much easier.
I used to work for the company that did tech support for McDonald’s. They were still using USR modems to transmit data from restaurants to corp way into the 2010s, like 2015 or 2016!? They sucked to troubleshoot because nobody knew what a modem was anymore, but on the other hand, they were kinda indestructible.
Very interested in the tennis players’ perspective, I wouldn’t have thought about it as “increasing focus,” but it makes sense.
I’m a baseball fan, and this has been a topic for a long time. I’ve always wondered if it will help hitters way more than people realize, since there will be way more consistency in called strikes. Over time, I think hitters will be able to adjust to that and hit better. Call it better focus.

I really got hooked on the many, many gems I’ve found (links & comments) about many of the various things I’m interested in: music, nutrition, leadership, psychology, even religion, etc, etc, etc. I’ve learned a lot here.
