All of this is because of the technological change (MP3, internet speed) not because of the streaming service.

That is why I believe that this debate is pointless.

If AGI is possible, it will be made. There is no feasible way to stop it being developed, because the perceivable gains are so huge.

Because everything else about coding that is not debugging is arguably better in vim/nvim.

I'm one of those. A happy user of IDEs for a decade, but after trying and embracing vim/nvim all the IDEs now feel slow, bloated and clunky. Even with vim/nvim plugins.
