I love the idea of coloring functions based on how "heavy" they are on the CPU or how long they take to execute on an "average client desktop/mobile browser".
I love the original thinking in this post. If there was no React/Angular/VueJS, how would YOU design ANY system to help you code faster and more maintainable? That what I'd love to see: more original ideas to solve complex tasks, and not stopping at the first idea coming to mind.
BTW: I believe tailwindcss is fantastic at achieving and helping with the OP's frustration.
You should collaborate with https://skribbl.io/ -- they probably have the largest scribbling dataset in the world, and have it labelled correctly + "how many % people do actually recognize this THING as what it is meant to be, as drawn by another being?" It's hard to think of any better dataset.
Don't fight AWS nor Amazon. Instead use the money you earn there for good, build your own "nonprofit" that does what you perceive to be good.
Don't try to change others or force them to your "ideology", esp. if it's the source of income you depend on.
The title is just extremely wrong and clickbait. There's no content or data about "rise". If anything, the default founder is no-code outside of SV. There's a sharp rise of coding-founders, just because basic coding is becoming "basic knowledge" and taught in highschools now. I won't click these clickbait indiehackers links again.
Nope. Because they have already paid all of this in taxes. It means, that the 10 bn won't get 'invested' by the government in another project, e.g., welfare benefits, infrastructure, health, or education. Alternatively, it means: nothing of all of those, but inflation will rise an additional 0.0001% (if the funding source is printing money vs. using tax payer money)
I think that's a fantastic strategic move, even though I'm usually not a GCP/ Google fan. The idea that you have to constantly disrupt yourself, and even have to cannibalize your own revenue in business to stay alive, is well understood. An idea, that in my opinion, is generally not understood at all even by CEOs. Most would rather hold on to their last penny until getting disrupted and becoming insignificant.
They made a Mistake at Teleportation: "The technology will exist that will allow for the “faxing” (teleportation- sending/receiving) of actual inanimate objects, such as text books, clothing, jewelry and the like."
This is TRUE, and can be easily done with 3D printers. Note that "faxing" by definition is not "teleportation", but "copying at a different location", which is exactly what 3D printing is.
Exciting! Please be much more specific on your webpage "much faster" (so... 2X, or 10X, ... or just 10%)? Also for "requires only few MB". What are "few MB" for you? 1? 10? 100? :) Please be specific with all your claims and measure everything, to be more credible and useful.
