Firefox is still there, but Mozilla is adding AI slop to it too. I’d love to see an extension to disable all that stuff, or ideally get rid of it and make it an extension

Redis should step up and fund an independent foundation now and encourage Valkey to contribute where relevant.

Some code under a 3 clause BSD and some under AGPLv3 could be interesting.

AGPL isn’t cancer. It’s a license that exists to solve a particular problem: the proliferation of free software in a world of network services.

If you don’t like it, don’t use AGPLv3 software. Those of us who do like it will keep writing AGPLv3 software.

Does Telegram still have a feature where you can see who nearby you is using Telegram? That to me is a reason alone to not install it.

I had one much later in 2008, it cost $1 a day for unlimited data/service on a prepaid account IIRC.

I’ve definitely watched less than 10% of a lot of videos and would downvote them if it was easier on TV.

Lot of videos either start with a nonsense intro/bad audio.

This isn’t quite right. The BIOS checks for a copy of the Nintendo logo/name in certain ways on boot because licensed games include a copy.

Nintendo also manufactured the games which made this easier.
