Yep - new CPU is good. But... Anything else? The expectations were much more.
I'm not really happy with it, but it works well for me in two projects.
In first one, Mongo acts as a huge distributed (multisharded), replicated file storage — we're using GridFS to store tens of millions files with tons of searchable metadata.
In the second one it is just a backend for geo tracking software.
